Leeds Castle maintains an aviary, a falconry, and even a 'duckery' (a haven for ducks & wildfowl away from foxes etc).
They hold a falconry exhibition & demonstration twice a day - if only the birds could read a script................

Leeds Castle - but not in Yorkshire! This is Leeds Castle near the village of Leeds, near Maidstone, Kent. Apart from the castle itself, there is an extensive estate including a falconry centre and a maze.

A beautiful garden set in the Kentish countryside near the village of Sissinghurst deep the The Weald of Kent.
The castle is not the main attraction but the gardens and the plants themselves, hence the concentration in this collection on just those things.
It is part of the National Trust and is open to both members and non-members

Samphire Hoe - a new piece of the UK. Situated at the bottom of Shakespeare Cliff it was built with the spoil excavated from the construction of the Channel Tunnel. It extends about half a mile along the coast and is about quarter a mile out to sea and has been fully landscaped and planted. It is accessible from the westbound A20 between Dover and Folkestone through the service tunnel built for the Channel Tunnel construction site.
